Known as "The Wine Guy" on the TV Food Network show - Bobby Flay Hot off the Grill, Gary has made guest appearances on CNN, New Jersey 12, Bloomberg and WOR Food Talk radio and television. He has been honored by both MarketWatch magazine and the Tasters Guild for his retailing and merchandising expertise, and he was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2002.

Impressive career? Check. Fresh out of law school, John Sprung went to work with the NYC Economic Development Administration, went on to become an Assistant D.A. in Manhattan, and then became part of the NYSE's Office of the General Counsel. In 1980, John joined Merril Lynch, where his path lead him all the way up to an appointment as General Counsel of Municipal Markets.
He has appeared as a lecturer on Law at both the graduate school of Boston University Law School and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and is active in numerous leadership capacities within Merrill Lynch as well as many other industry and trade associations.
In addition to his success as an attorney, John is also an accomplished folk musician. As a singer-songwriter, his music has been featured on radio stations across the country, including his song "Remember Me," which is regularly played on radio stations during annual musical tributes to the victims of 9/11.
Most recently, he performed his song,"The Glory of Their Times", as part of the televised 2007 Memorial Day program for the Intrepid Air, Space and Sea Museum, and his third Cd is coming out in the next few weeks.
