The iPEC Executive Team

D. Luke Iorio, PCC, CPC, ELI-MP

President & CEO

Luke came to iPEC from the marketing and management consulting industry. Working with entrepreneurs, he quickly found the missing ingredient between those that succeeded and those that didn’t: Engagement! Making the switch from consultant to coach, Luke empowers individuals to fully and powerfully engage in all that they do, having a positive and contagious impact on all those they touch in both their personal and professional lives. This purpose drives Luke’s vision for iPEC, as a company, as well as the individuals, corporations, K-12 school districts, and universities that iPEC works with. Playing full out, Luke brings a tremendous amount of energy, passion, and focus to everything that he does, and you’ll see and hear it in the frequent speaking events, teleclasses, and workshops that he leads for iPEC, in addition to his responsibilities overseeing the growth and development of the Institute.

Evie DiPiazza, CPC, PCC, ELI-MP

Vice President of Business Development

Evie is passionate about the ability to shift the world one person at a time. She loves coaching because it shows the “True Human Potential.” Evie has helped clients who have big goals achieve those goals and she says, “it is a beautiful experience.” After spending nearly 25 years as a Medical Technologist at a local hospital, she branched into marketing and sales. Evie then began to work for a direct Sales company where she consistently placed in the top 3 in the nation in sales. When not flexing her green thumb in her flower garden, Evie is busy volunteering for the Lion's Club, bringing the community food, medical care, having young children's vision screened – literally bringing vision to the world! Evie loves the people at iPEC, its mission and how the only constant is growth and change.

Elizabeth Fisch, M.Ed., PCC, CPC, ELI-MP

Vice President, Research

Liz began her professional life working for The Psychological Corporation and the Professional Testing Corporation creating and editing certification examinations, and then spent years working in corporate communications before taking a hiatus from “paid” work in order to raise her family. Never one to sit still, Liz served as president and board member of many community organizations, while helping her husband grow their small retail store into a large, multi-location business. In 2005, Liz decided it was time to pursue her passion of personal development and helping others to live the lives they dream about, which led her to iPEC, where she became a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. She loved her iPEC experience so much that she joined the company less than a year after graduating from the program. Liz’s role at iPEC provides her with the perfect way to combine her work and educational background with her love of writing and communication and her desire to make a difference.

Cindy Gardner, MBA, CPC, ELI-MP

Vice President, Marketing

Cindy is Vice President of Marketing, where she oversees branding, advertising, social media, tradeshows & events, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and public relations. Cindy began her career in corporate America, setting off on a Sales and Marketing career, working for Fortune 500 companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. In 2002, she left corporate America to pursue a position with a mid-size branding firm in Atlanta. All the while, her calling to help others realize their full potential grew louder and louder until she discovered coaching. In 2007, she enrolled in iPEC’s accredited Coach Training Program and became a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, ultimately starting her own coaching business, where she worked with women entrepreneurs on marketing and branding their businesses. Today, Cindy’s role as VP of Marketing at iPEC offers her the rare and awesome opportunity to touch many lives at once, as she combines her love of marketing with her passion for coaching.

Lou Iorio, JD, CPC, ELI-MP

Vice President, Finance

Whether in a corporate, personal, or entrepreneurial role, Lou has always demonstrated a passion for setting goals, implementing the action steps to achieve those goals, and stretching for higher goals when the earlier ones have been accomplished. At the same time, he recognized and was driven by helping individuals build on their strengths, embrace opportunities for growth, and break through any resistance or limiting beliefs and behaviors that held them back. Lou is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. He holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. It's the journey, growth, and success of those with whom he works that drives his work.

The iPEC Admissions Team

Heather Doyle, CPC, ELI-MP

Admissions Coach

Heather derives from a dynamic background in sales, and recently earned her coaching certification in order to help make a difference in people’s lives. Her philosophy on life and goal setting is akin to her hobby of rock climbing. She says the two go “hand in hand” because just when you think you can’t reach the top – that you’re not enough – one slight move or one small degree of change will lead you toward your aspirations. And, serendipitously, she met her husband during an outdoor climbing excursion and the two now reside happily on the West Coast. When she’s not hanging cliffside, Heather’s steady resolve is omnipresent in all she attempts to achieve. As she coins it, “life is a physical climb; the trick is to simply remember to breathe.”

1330978463-MaryKayGarrett.jpgMary Kay Garrett, CPC, ELI-MP

Admissions Coach

Furthering iPEC’s mission and vision of making a difference is a driving force for Mary Kay. Combining this passion and her years of diverse corporate, sales, coaching, and training experiences, Mary Kay strives to guide others in reaching their greatest potential both professionally and personally. Mary Kay finds no greater reward than partnering with someone and watching them transform and change their life to a level that they never thought they would achieve. Mary Kay imparts the confidence and awareness she has gained, along with relinquishing the need for control and allowing the natural processes to happen, onto her three kids. Those lessons have supported them in their own growth. Mary Kay says, “They have more confidence and are more independent because of my choices to work with and become a coach.”

Grace Germond

Sr. Admissions Assistant

After over 20 years in the corporate financial services field, Grace knew she found her home the moment she walked through the door for her in-person interview and felt the sense of family that iPEC provides. Grace's passion is providing the best customer service to both her internal (co-workers) and external (prospective students) customers. She constantly surpasses those lofty goals. Grace and her high school sweetheart, Walt, are the proud parents of two and will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

Theresa Horezga

Admissions Coach

Theresa’s outlook on life centers on connection - to people, places, and ideas. It’s no wonder she’s traveled to over a dozen countries, dabbled in just about every sport imaginable (soccer is her favorite!), and comes from a large family, including 5 siblings and 55 first cousins! Her penchant for spontaneity brought her to iPEC, where she helps people blaze their own trail toward a career they are passionate about. She admits that it’s easy to get “lost in the shuffle” of life, but it’s the energy and meaning that you put into everything that creates a world of opportunity. In her off time, Theresa is lacing up her cleats, skiing on the slopes, or seeking her next big adventure in the great outdoors. She holds a B.S. degree in Communications and lives mere minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.

Maria Maduri

Admissions Assistant

Like many people, Maria was looking to find her purpose and career path. Always one to help others, Maria came to iPEC after working nearly five years in a customer service role. She relishes the responsibility of being the first person prospective iPEC students speak with before embarking on their journey.

Maria, the youngest of three and the proud aunt of two darling nieces, credits her mom, who she lost ten years ago to cancer, for helping her become the person she is today.

Maria couldn't be happier to now be working at a company that embodies everything she believes in and says iPEC is a place where she can be herself and loves coming to work every day.

Mira Simon, CPC, ELI-MP

Admissions Coach

This UCLA Bruin came to iPEC after a long career in the radio broadcasting industry. Mira's passion for radio has sent her to the markets of Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego, to name a few. For Mira, discovering iPEC was like “being in the desert for years and years and finding water.”  She thrives in team-focused environments. Mira was so impressed that iPEC truly represented those values and goals from the top on down, she knew that she wanted to work there in some capacity! Not a day goes by where Mira does not utilize at least one thing she's learned with and from iPEC that she applies to her life – personally and professionally. A self-confessed lover of all-things-music-and-movies, Mira lives with her husband, Mike, in Encinitas California, where they enjoy spending time with family and friends and their two Labradors, Rosie and Drom.
