What is the Energy Leadership® Development System?
The Energy Leadership® Development System—ELDS for short—is a complete year of customizable coaching for clients and groups, built around helping your clients unlock their energetic potential and move through their professional and personal lives from a highly conscious perspective.
Law of Being (LOB) vs. Energy Leadership Development System (ELDS)
Where Law of Being (LOB) focuses on the WHO—helping clients explore the belief systems that shape their identity and worldview—ELDS focuses on the WHAT and HOW: what they're doing, how they're doing it, and how they can lead more consciously in every area of life.
If Law of Being is for the client who wants to dive deep into their inner world, ELDS is for the client who's ready to take that awareness into action.
Building on the 7 Levels of Energy® framework at the heart of Energy Leadership®, ELDS guides clients to:
-
-
Understand and work with catabolic and anabolic energy
-
Set sustainable goals using the AIM SMART framework
-
Choose how they experience the events in their lives
-
Harness anabolic energy to influence the people around them
-
Unlock their leadership potential—regardless of industry, career path, or whether they even consider themselves a leader
-
The result is clients who can navigate difficult conversations with less reactivity and more clarity, make decisions aligned with their values instead of defaulting to old patterns, build teams and relationships from anabolic energy rather than stress and control, and lead with confidence—whether that's professionally or personally.
What type of client is it best for, and how will it help them?
ELDS is designed for clients who are ready to do something with their self-awareness—to direct it outward into their leadership, relationships, and daily decisions.
You might hear clients say things like:
"I really need help with setting goals and sticking to them."
"I feel stressed and overwhelmed. I need better time management skills."
"I want to develop my leadership presence so that I can achieve my career goals."
And it’s especially powerful for clients who are:
-
-
Leaders (formal or informal) who want to lead with greater intention, impact, and energy awareness—whether they're managing a team of 50 or just trying to show up more purposefully in their own life
-
People navigating transitions—career changes, promotions, new phases of life—who want a structured process to guide their next chapter
-
Professionals struggling with communication, conflict, or team dynamics who need practical tools to shift how they engage
-
High-achievers ready to bridge the gap between who they are and who they want to be as a leader and human being
-
Clients who thrive with structure—those who want tangible exercises, accountability, and a clear guide—not just open-ended exploration
-
What's included in ELDS?
ELDS is a comprehensive, fully structured coaching system made up of 12 segments—four foundational segments followed by eight focused on highly conscious leadership. All client materials are delivered digitally, with a look and feel that's intuitive, interactive, and designed to keep clients engaged.
The system comes in three versions, each tailored to a specific audience:
Corporate/Organizational
Oriented around leadership in the workplace—ideal for clients who work within organizations or with teams
Life
More personally focused—a great fit for individual clients working through personal development goals
Teen
Designed specifically for a younger audience
Each version contains the same core exercises, but the language and framing are adapted to best resonate with the type of client you’re working with. See the full segment breakdown in 'How is ELDS structured?' below.
The Coach's Manual
When you purchase ELDS, you receive the Coach's Manual—your essential guide to leading the program with maximum effectiveness. While your clients are working in their digital kit, you'll have a comprehensive side-by-side view that guides you through the facilitation process.
Think of the Coach's Manual as your co-facilitator. It doesn't script you or take away your coaching instincts—it supports them. You'll have:
• Empowering questions at your fingertips for every segment, so you're never scrambling for "what should I ask next?"
• Session structure guidance that tells you how many sessions to allocate per segment, removing the guesswork
• Things to listen for—the subtle cues and patterns that signal where your client needs more attention
• The ELDS Express Kit, which includes bonus resources for customizing programs, marketing your offerings, using ELDS for business development, and delivering group/team coaching
Whether you're a confident veteran coach or still finding your facilitation rhythm, the Coach's Manual gives you expert backup without micromanaging your unique process.
Why use ELDS?
As an iPEC-trained coach, you already have deep knowledge of Energy Leadership® principles. So why invest in a structured system like ELDS?
Here's what ELDS gives you (that coaching on your own often can’t provide):
A proven roadmap
Instead of designing your own curriculum from scratch—or figuring out session-by-session what to cover next—ELDS gives you a complete, sequenced program that's already been tested with thousands of clients. You can show up fully present for your client instead of spending energy on "what comes next?"
Professional client materials
When clients receive a polished, interactive digital kit, they immediately perceive higher value. It signals that this is a serious, structured engagement—much more than a series of conversations. That professionalism translates into better engagement, deeper accountability, and clients who are more likely to invest in the full experience.
Scalability and consistency
Once you know ELDS works for one client, you can confidently offer it to the next one, and the next! The structure allows you to build repeatable offerings, whether that's 1:1 packages, group programs, or corporate workshops. You're not reinventing the wheel every time.
Confidence, especially early in your practice
If you're a newer coach still building your facilitation muscles, ELDS removes the pressure of "am I covering the right things?" The Coach's Manual gives you empowering questions, session guidance, and things to listen for, so you can lean on expert structure while you develop your own coaching instincts.
Easier to market and sell
It's much simpler to sell a defined program than an open-ended coaching engagement. Clients understand what they're buying, which makes the sales conversation clearer and more confident on both sides.
How is ELDS structured?
The program's 12 segments are organized into two parts:
The Four Foundational Segments
These segments set the stage for everything that follows. In this phase, clients will:
1. Set meaningful goals and develop a personal mission statement
2. Explore the 7 Levels of Energy® and identify their own energetic patterns
3. Assess their leadership strengths and gaps using tools like the Ideal Leader exercise and the Leadership Wheel
4. Reveal and examine the barriers that may be holding them back
We recommend beginning every ELDS engagement with an ELI assessment and debrief. While it's not required, the connection points clients make going into the program are significantly richer when they already have a clear picture of their energetic profile.
The Eight Pillars of Highly Conscious Leadership
After the foundational work, clients move into eight topic-specific segments that can be completed in the order below, or you can pick and choose based on what's most relevant for your client:
1. Emotional Intelligence – how it connects to and shapes the 7 Levels of Energy®
2. Dynamic Communication – applying the 7 Levels to how we speak, listen, and present
3. Influencing Others – how to energetically influence the people around them, including how to build an inspiring team
4. Problem Solving and Change – exploring the Cycle of Change and how to handle conflict with greater energy awareness
5. Productivity – decision-making and identifying solutions with an energetic approach, using tools like AIM SMART
6. High Energy Relationships – strengthening communication and cultivating anabolic relationships and teams
7. Health and Wellness – exploring what this truly means to each client and how it impacts their leadership presence
8. Time Management and Balance – how to look at their relationship with time, presence, and using the Wheel of Life to realign priorities
This flexibility makes ELDS very adaptable! If a client is primarily working on health and wellness or communication, you can focus there without needing to work through every segment in order.
How can I use ELDS in my coaching practice?
One of the biggest strengths of ELDS is how versatile it is across different coaching formats! There are so many ways to use ELDS:
For Yourself First
Before bringing any client through ELDS, we highly encourage you to experience it yourself.
You can go solo, or connect with fellow iPEC coaches to work through it as a group, meeting regularly to support each other through the material. Either way, going through ELDS firsthand will deepen your fluency with the content, sharpen your instincts as a facilitator, and give you the kind of confidence that only comes from lived experience with the program.
Start with the four foundational segments, then explore whichever pillars feel most relevant to your own life and leadership right now. Take your time with the exercises. Let the process work on you—your clients will feel the difference.
With Individual Clients and Groups
One-on-one
Use the program as a long-form individual coaching engagement. Working through all 12 segments equates to about 50 hours of coaching—plenty of depth to build a high-value package around. You and your client can move through segments at whatever pace makes sense.
Groups and teams
ELDS is exceptionally well-suited for group and team settings. When an entire team shares the same framework—whether that's building dynamic communication skills together or working through how they navigate change—the impact multiplies. It's also a natural entry point for organizations looking to invest in leadership development.
In Workshops and Speaking Engagements
Many coaches use individual segments as the foundation for standalone workshops or speaking topics, like productivity, time management, or emotional intelligence. The material translates well into formats beyond traditional coaching sessions.
Who can access ELDS?
ELDS is available to any iPEC coach who has completed Module III of the Coach Training Program. Once you've reached that milestone, you can purchase the Coach's Manual directly in the iPEC Marketplace.
How to price ELDS in your coaching practice
How you price ELDS will depend on your niche, your format, and your business goals. With a Coach's Manual purchase of $250 (which includes the Express Kit and a free client kit), you have the flexibility to build a package that works for you.
One-on-one coaching
For individual clients, consider the scope and depth of the engagement. A full 12-segment program represents approximately 50 hours of coaching—a substantial, high-value offering. Price to reflect that entire journey and transformation!
Group coaching
Group programs allow you to work with multiple clients simultaneously, creating a more scalable offering while still delivering the full depth of the material. Factor in your facilitation time, group size, and the value of the shared experience when setting your rate.
Bundling with the ELI
Adding an ELI assessment and debrief to your ELDS package is a natural fit, and a meaningful upsell. Clients who start with a clear picture of their current energetic profile get significantly more from the program.
Mixing and matching
You don't have to sell the full 12-segment program. Many coaches build workshops or packages around individual pillars—Dynamic Communication, Time Management and Balance, or Health and Wellness—priced accordingly. Use the ELDS Express Kit for guidance on how to structure and market these offerings.
Is ELDS right for you and your clients?
If you work with clients who are ready to grow as leaders—whether they're executives, managers, emerging leaders, or individuals who simply want to lead their own lives with more intention and awareness—ELDS is a powerful system to have in your toolkit.
