To the Person Who’s “Just Looking” for a Coach Training Program
Hi, again. It’s good to see you.
We presume that you have read through our articles before, have checked out a livecast or two, and typically open our emails time and again, looking for new information. You’ve been considering the idea of coach training for a while now.
You might say you’re, “just looking.”
The idea of becoming a coach keeps cycling through your mind with very little closure.
You just want to make the right decision on this.
And it makes sense! Coach training is a commitment. Of course you want to understand what that commitment looks like and how it would ultimately affect your future.
And yet, another day, another blog article, and another email comes through your inbox and you still aren’t sure what it is you’re looking for—you just know you haven’t quite found it yet.
Luckily, we’re all coaches here and it’s our literal job to work with you to uncover and explore what the ideal vision of your future looks like and HOW to get there.
Get started by taking a few moments to ponder these questions. Jot your answers down in a journal and really dig into what’s coming up for you.
- What is it about coach training that intrigues you?
- What would be the best-case-scenario for you in a coach training program?
- If you could wave a magic wand and have everything you want in life in an instant, what would that reality look like?
- What blocks in your life do you believe would keep you from achieving your vision?
Now that you’ve journaled through these questions, how do you feel? Where did you discover more clarity?
I’d recommend sustaining from any self-judgment here. You might be experiencing uncertainty, fear, or guilt for not yet taking action on what it is you know you want to do. But harshly judging your past self (even a past self from a few moments ago) reaps no rewards. This typical response only stirs the pot further and continues the cycling of the mind, resulting in even less certainty than before.
So, what do you do now? You speak with a coach.
On staff, we have certified professional coaches eager to validate your concerns and help you through this decision.
To be clear, Admissions Coaches are not salespeople and will not pressure you to enroll. They’re here to help with questions unique to you. They’ll also coach you through your decision on whether coach training is your best next step and if iPEC is the right school for you.
Gain clarity and find closure on if coach training truly is what you’ve been looking for.
